We were craving Texas BBQ and, based on the reviews, we thought this place would be a close alternative. Unfortunately, we were mistaken! First off, they don’t serve BBQ on Sundays, which caught us off guard—who would think a BBQ restaurant would take a day off from BBQ? Nonetheless, we decided to try some other options. However, they were out of most of the items we wanted, so we ended up ordering a burger and ribs with waffles. The burger was decent, scoring about 3.5 out of 5, but the ribs were incredibly dry, receiving a disappointing 2 out of 5 at best. I also found it odd that they served waffles without any syrup—there wasn’t even any on the table. To top it all off, the service was l...

My husband and I dined there last night, and we were absolutely impressed! Every dish we tried had its own unique flavor that was simply delicious. The meat was incredibly moist and flavorful, no sauce needed! Our server was so friendly, and the owner took the time to chat with us about the rich history of BBQ, which was both informative and enjoyable. The music playlist combined Nashville-style twang with 90s and 2000s grunge rock, creating a great atmosphere. And the best part? Our entire meal, including dessert, cost only $60! This place has a fantastic vibe, and I can't wait to return!

This restaurant offers a vibrant and playful atmosphere. Be sure to sample all the side dishes; the hash brown hot dish is unforgettable! The experience here is truly enjoyable. I tried the ribs and pulled pork tacos with corn tortillas, and they were fantastic. If you're looking for something special, don't miss the tacos topped with the green goddess sauce—it’s the real deal! It's an ideal spot for a date night, featuring excellent prices and top-notch service. Arrive early in the evening, as it’s a popular destination in the north metro area. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

We decided to stop by Anoka on our way back from up north and came across J&J's, which had great ratings. Our experience was fantastic! The smoked coffee was unique and full of flavor. The cornbread fritters had a sweet, crunchy exterior and warm, savory filling. The beans were a delightful mix with plenty of variety. The PB&J brisket was both fun and satisfying. Although not pictured, the wings were my favorite dish. The dry rub was outstanding, and we’ll definitely make a point to return for the $0.99 wings during happy hour! Réservez une table maintenant

I’ve discovered a new favorite BBQ restaurant, and we definitely plan to return! The Gouda and Cherry Jam burger was outstanding. The ribs were tender and perfectly seasoned, especially with the apple bourbon BBQ sauce – it took them to the next level! The jalapeño jam with the corn fritters was a delightful touch. My toddlers devoured the mac and cheese! Even the fries were served hot and fresh. The food arrived quickly, and the service was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

We had our first visit here and we can't wait to return! The food was fantastic, and Erica provided excellent service. Our two toddlers enjoyed their meals as well—that's definitely a plus. We did have a short wait for a low table to become available, but everything else was wonderful. I highly recommend the fritters and the smoked Gouda cherry burger, and don't forget to save some space for the banana pudding!

I ordered a beer along with two takeout orders of short ribs with peppers and onions. Unfortunately, the presentation was quite unappealing; it looked like vomit. The bun was soggy and not enjoyable. I live just ten minutes away, and the mac and cheese was so unappetizing that I ended up giving it to my dogs. What a disappointing experience! I won't be returning. They definitely need a new chef and manager.

This is currently the second best BBQ I've had in Minnesota. They really know how to prepare brisket. The Kool-Aid pickle was a unique addition, and the hash was outstanding. I particularly enjoyed their classic thick BBQ sauce. Great food! Réservez une table maintenant

The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and the food was excellent, but it is quite pricey. Everything is à la carte, and the side dishes are both small and costly.
