First, I used to love this place, my wife and I have come here numerous times and I have rarely had any complaints. The service has recently taken a steep dive for the worse. I was there for lunch and we ordered two sandwiches and a drink. While we waited roughly 15 minutes for the food, I can understand a reasonably long wait during a lunch rush. What I cannot understand is why it took them 25 minutes longer to make the drink we had ordered. After asking about it twice, they seemed to have totally forgotten it both times. I've visited this place several times in the afternoon and had always been shown the vegan and dairy-free pastry options, usually by the same staff member. However, when I stopped by yesterday morning and inquired about their vegan or dairy-free options, the younger cashier asked another employee who informed her that they don't carry dairy-free pastries. I expressed my concern since my son has an allergy and has previously eaten the vegan and dairy-free options that employees had pointed out to me. The staff was not very polite when we requested that our sausage and eggs not be heated in the microwave. They reacted as if we were asking for their paychecks, giving us strange looks. Although they offered to heat our food on the stove, which is the usual way to warm up dishes, we ended up with ice-cold eggs and sausage. It also seemed that most of what we ordered was pre-made; we noticed this during their food preparation process. It took them thirty minutes to serve us, and I can't help but feel that people's standards for good food have declined significantly, at least here in Marietta. It's quite disappointing!

I love the location. They do have a lot of coffee options. The counter layout is kind of confusing, because the menu is not behind the cashier, and there is a lot on the menu. I was thinking about food, but there was too much to read, so I just got a coffee and a scone. The cashier wasn't sure what kind of scones were in the case and had to go ask someone. Not my favorite coffee shop but they are polite and very patient. The wait is about adverage especially if you have a large order. The layout is a bit odd but there is a front and a back for guests. The door is a bit sticky to enter and to leave squeeze it harder than you might think it's an old door.

What cute lil Coffee Shop in Marietta, Ohio. The staff was great and very helpful! The coffee was delicious and love that offer gluten free options I got expectational gluten free sandwich, soup and a cinnamon roll! What an asset to Marietta, Ohio

This is a coffee shop you visit when you want to simply wind down and enjoy yourself. It’s a very warm and welcoming environment with very friendly staff. Highly recommended, as I would personally rate this location as worthy of my 5 soda stops.

My girlfriends refresher was good, but it took them 20 minutes to make a cafe au lait (literally espresso shot with milk). It shouldn’t take that long. Réservez une table maintenant

Very nice coffee house with a great selection of drinks and breakfast pasties. There is plenty of places to sit inside or outside.
