"We just finished the gastronomic menu at Jerome Feck. My wife fell ill with severe diarrhoea after getting back to the hotel. We complained about undercooked monkfish and they replaced the dish but my wife did have a chewy mouthful of it. This is most probably the cause of the immediate illness."

La nourriture dans ce restaurant n'est certainement pas mauvaise (même si elle n'a pas offert la même expérience incroyable que celle que j'ai vécue dans d'autres restaurants étoilés Michelin). Le service était parfois un peu inapproprié, entraînant des moments embarrassants inutiles. Lorsque j'ai demandé s'il était possible de prendre du vin au verre avec le menu, la serveuse m'a répondu que c'était possible et qu'elle enverrait le sommelier pour en discuter. Le sommelier n'est jamais venu, alors au bout d'un moment, j'ai demandé à la serveuse si elle pouvait me recommander une bouteille de vin blanc. We knew they changed ownership and lost their Michelin star but we thought it would be a good idea to be back there and indeed check whether the Hotel d’Angleterre was still worth the detour for the quality of the rooms of course but mainly the Restaurant Jérôme FECK… So we used to go to Jacky Michel where service was high standard and helpful… Food quality meeting all you may expect, the cooking original without being eccentric and the champagne that matched the meals was great too! While stopping over night in the hotel above the restaurant, we decided we would book a table. So glad we did! We chose a 5 course surprise! It was amazing. Every course and extra bits in between we’re beautifully presented and had the best flavours you would want to taste. We are proper ‘foodies’ so to finish our holiday at this restaurant was just perfect. Definitely recommend booking.
We were with a tour group and had 12 for dinner. We had a “surprise “ menu. It was very inventive and each course was artistic Not everyone liked every course (altogether we had nine different servings) that was a matter of personal choice. I liked the sweetbread but some people don’t. But with all of the choices everyone was happy. The wines were also very good.
