I found the sandwiches and subs at Jersey Mike's to be excessively priced compared to the hot and cold options available at Market Basket, which is conveniently located just across the street and closes at 8 PM. If I don’t make it to Market Basket before they shut their doors, I try to place a phone order at Jersey Mike's, but I always end up waiting until the next day for them to respond. On one occasion, I drove over to Jersey Mike's and noticed three employees behind the counter: one was sweeping, another was cleaning the grill, and the third seemed to be engrossed in telling a story.
