The external makeover and welcoming new logo made me very hopefully for a formerly ICONIC Dunedin locale, anyone that 's been here since the 80 's knows that 'Fritzee Freeze ', was fun and welcoming and delicious. I remember walking there from my housedown the street as a kid and taking my own very small children there-even as they were crumbling under the Recession. I wishthe new owner actually acted like she was happy to see a customer, a child giddy with excitement over a scoop of ice cream. This locally owned spot is fantastic! The burgers are cooked perfectly and come on great buns (which really makes a difference). The chili dogs, seasoned fries, and fried Oreos were all incredible. Prices are reasonable, and I’m surprised there isn’t a constant line out the door! The place is charming, and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend it—11/10! I hope more locals start visiting because we definitely need Jillybean's to stick around!
First, I want to mention that I usually don’t mind dining at Applebee’s. However, my experience here was disappointing. While the staff was friendly, the food left much to be desired. My fries had a hair on them, and the burger tasted like the meat wasn’t fresh. The restaurant appeared quite unclean, and the condiment bottles were sticky. I’m not sure what others were referring to in their reviews because I won’t be coming back.
Nice little place. However for $5 my sons small ice cream in a cup were the smallest 2 scoops I've ever seen. Once handed to him we both gave looked at eachother like what the heck? Very dissappointing. I tipped the young girl at the window before we got the ice cream and I wish I didnt..didnt get a thank you or anything.. Definitely will be getting ice cream somewhere else for that price. Wish I took a picture!

I don’t say this lightly: this ice cream shop has the best cheeseburger in Dunedin. I’ve clearly been missing out on the food here, and I wish I had tried it sooner. The menu prices are incredibly reasonable, and the made-to-order burgers are exceptionally delicious.
The ice cream scoops at Jillybean's are incredibly tiny—more like half scoops. They do have nice outdoor seating, which is pleasant. We enjoyed our cones, but it only took about three minutes to finish them.
Guy with the gate is clearly on drugs. He didn’t know the difference between a shake and an ice cream sundae. He had me waiting for 20 minutes before he even acknowledged me. TERRIBLE SERVICE go somewhere
The store is setup mom and pop style. The ice cream was good, but nothing great. The prices were fair and the staff is customer friendly.

Great ice cream!! I got the banana split. They also have superman ice cream, so I will be going back for that.
So glad we came across this place. Got a hot dog and fries. Both great. Even toasted the buns!!
