Jimmy Hays Steak House

Jimmy Hays ,we have been there many times..was always good until the last visit. Something has changed and not for the better. The service was horrible. We frequent many top tier steak houses. Always considered JH an excellent steak house until last night. We didn't even get to look at wine list when it was whisked away. Told making room. Really??? Ordered cocktails and a pelligrino. They brought a Saratoga with never a word about the substitution. Never done. Now starts the rush. Decided on dinner and ordered. Appetizers arrived. Excellent lobster bisque and excellent lump crab meat. Needed more cocktail sauce. We were not finished the Appetizer and the buspeople showed up. Told not finishe...

Best steak ever. Service is great and drinks are great too. Very expensive but for the best you pay the most. Make reservations well in advance. Valet parking nice. Chateau Briand for 2 and the smothered garlic bread is what I get every visit. It's mouth watering. Ambiance very good.
