I've been ordering from the Jessup location for a while and have generally been pleased until today. There's a new driver named Kim who delivered my sandwich to the wrong apartment, and her attitude was unhelpful. She claimed she didn't remember where she left it because she had already gone, even though it was almost 90 degrees outside. I had specifically asked her to call me when she arrived so I could meet her at the door. Now I'm hesitant to order again because I don't want someone mishandling my food. This location really delivers. The team here is well-trained and friendly, ensuring that the Jimmy John's products are prepared perfectly. There's plenty of parking available in this retail center. The food meets the standard quality of Jimmy John's, which means it's good. I personally prefer the texture of the bread here much more than that of other sub chains. Overall, it's a better option at a similar or slightly higher price. I haven't used their delivery service yet, but I've heard they have a limited delivery radius.
I wish I could give a higher rating, but it's really frustrating to discover that half my food is missing when I get home. One of the sandwiches even lacked some of its more expensive ingredients. From now on, I’ll make sure to double-check their orders carefully, and if that causes them any embarrassment or slows things down, then that’s just too bad.
I am not sure what happened to the fast service they once provided. The serving portions have diminished and staff must have had a bad day that day. It was my favorite go to for a quick lunch during a busy day at work. I hope you get it together and get back to the service you used to provide. Win me back as your loyal customer.
