Who is this Jimmy? He seems to have several dining spots in Clearwater Beach, all sharing a similar bar vibe, menu, and rooftop views. I've been to both Jimmy’s Crow’s Nest and Jimmy’s On The Edge, and the experiences felt nearly identical. This location is on the rooftop of The Edge Hotel, just south of the Pier. We walked there from the Hilton, about 15 minutes along the main road by the beach, and had no trouble finding it. Just take the elevator from the parking garage up to the top floor, where signage will guide you.

I just spent a week at Jimmy's On The Edge. It's okay, but it lacks practicality. The one king bedroom with a hide-a-bed isn’t very suitable for a week-long stay, mainly due to the bathroom setup. There’s no fan in the bathroom, and there’s barely anywhere to hang a towel. The bathroom is split into two areas, but the second area doesn’t even have a spot for a hand towel, so you end up using the counter space. Plus, that second section offers little privacy. Being so close to the beach and pool means you’ll be changing clothes often, and it’s inconvenient for ladies and children to share such a small bathroom. My nachos where amazing but I only wished that they had more options for vegetarian. I only rated it 4 stars for the lack of vegetarian options but for the taste of the nachos I would rate it 5 stars. I also had a cruzan mango hurricane which was also amazing. If you’re a fan of cruzan rum then this drink pictured to the left is a must. They had a lot of cruzan rum drinks to pick from. Also happy hour is from 3pm -6pm and some selection of drinks and all appetizers are 25% off. The nachos are on the appetizers and you can clearly see in the picture it’s a big portion. I was unable to finish it but it’s worth a try if you’re a cheesy type of person like myself.
I had an amazing dining experience during my first visit to this restaurant, and I will certainly be back. Our server was extremely friendly, and the drinks were superb. The food was outstanding, particularly their unique version of mac and cheese, which I believe is called "Mac Attack." It was incredibly delicious—definitely a must-try! The restaurant is situated on the 10th floor of The Edge hotel, offering stunning views. It's the ideal place for a frozen drink, an iguana-shaped pretzel, and to enjoy a beautiful sunset!

I would definitely return to Jimmy's On The Edge. The view is stunning, the king bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was spacious. Having a balcony was a wonderful bonus! The staff were always very friendly and polite. The two pools were often busy, which is understandable—the infinity pool is fantastic and offers breathtaking views. The location is perfect, with plenty of activities within walking distance. I highly recommend this place if you're planning to visit and stay in Clearwater.
This is a lovely venue! I made sure to dress warmly since it’s located on a rooftop, but we encountered a strong breeze that made it feel much cooler than the afternoon temperatures. I ordered the grouper bowl, which was light and refreshing, though I found the crab cakes to be disappointing. Overall, I would definitely return.
After ordering our food we had to wait 50min for it to get to our table. Waitress never stopped by and we had to ask her twice when the food was coming out. Each time she said it should be pretty soon. She had no concern at all for our satisfaction. Fish tacos had chewy shells and the pork bowl had a lot of fat in them
The ambiance was amazing! We savored delicious food and drinks while enjoying a breathtaking view. The service was outstanding. We will definitely be coming back!
