Loved it! I didn't even know this place existed till a friend of mine recommended it. I've driven past this small bank of shops so many times and have only ever noticed pizza shop. This restaurant was a bit out of the CBD, but once inside the atmosphere was nice. Nice decor, staff were kind and courteous. The food was fresh tasting and presented on par with other sushi belt restaurants around town. Price was also fine, ranging from $3-6 with plenty of variety at each level. Service was reasonably fast when ordering through the menu. I recently ordered takeaway from this restaurant, and I have to say, one of the staff members was absolutely amazing! She was very warm and attentive, and she picked out the sushi exactly as I wanted. It was a delightful surprise. Some foods don't hold up well for takeout, but our meal arrived beautifully packaged, almost like a little gift. I definitely want to dine here again. Great job! Réservez une table maintenant
Our experience at Jiro has been hit and miss. Lunch on a weekend is always great with superbly fresh sushi and a much bigger range. In the evening, we prefer to order off the menu because the variety isn’t as diverse and we find many of the plates on rotation aren’t as fresh ie the rice is no longer warm or is dehydrating
The sushi here is fantastic—clean and fresh! I dined in for lunch and found the service to be excellent, earning a solid 5/5. The atmosphere also deserves a 5/5. For a meal, I spent between $20 and $40 per person. I highly recommend trying the hand rolls, tempura, gyoza, and seafood dishes.
