I truly dislike writing negative reviews, but unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was not positive. The food we ordered arrived quickly and was served hot, and it did appear to be fresh. However, it was either undercooked or poorly prepared. I'm hoping it was just an off night or a mistake on their part. I wish the restaurant all the best, but I don't think I'll be returning.
Picked up takeout last night, Chicken dish had 2 tiny pieces of chicken and covered with 1/2 lb. of peanuts. Other dishes had no flavor or a weird flavor and edamame's were brown. Food was different, maybe a new owner. $60 for dinner that we threw away. Over the summer fried rice was great. Fall mediocre, now...we will not be returning.
Ordered the sesame chicken dinner and it was not good. Have been going here for years but lately the food has been disappointing. The chicken alternated between being burnt and tasting like fish. The cream cheese wonton tasted frozen. The wonton soup was the highlight of a below average meal.
Best Chinese-Japanese Restaurant around!! Both their Japanese/Chinese food are phenomenal!! Chicken tempura roll is a must try favorite!! Pork Mei Fun delicious!! Regardless of what we order..always a fantastic meal!! If you are in Oakdale area...JJ Dynasty is worth every bite!! Réservez une table maintenant
The wait staff is okay, and the decor is eh, but there is no other place where the Chinese food and the sushi is both amazing. Been to the north shore places, and tons of places on the southshore, but JJ is the best when it comes to chinese and japanese.
The order was wrong. Since it's thru Uber you can't get it corrected. TOO BAD liked the place. Goodbye.
Decent place, food a bit bland but has decent flavor. Servers are fast, reliable, and Friendly.
