Jo-anne's Quick-n-tasty

The food was delicious! I ordered a seafood platter, the scallops tasted fresh, as well as the fish and clams(they're in the pic but the plate was so full they were buried.. lol) There was also shrimp and a side of creamed lobster and toast. The cream lobster had excellent flavour. The staff was super friendly and the service was excellent.

This is a seasonal spot that is much-loved by locals. Expect a traditional Nova Scotian diner menu. The service will be slow but friendly. The food will be filling and simple. If you love Nova Scotia, you will love this place.

Service was poor to pre occupied to even listen when asked a question .. No coffee refills were offered.. Portions were small ..

The food and service is excellent. The only critique I would have is the musty smell of the building.
