Been coming here for years now both from their original location and here in Studio City. This is a great place to get picnic sandwiches for the Hollywood Bowl Concert. Last time we went to Hollywood Bowl, we ordered our food from there and everything was soooo good. They pack them so well, specially if you buy the box for them to pack it. The chicken sandwich was so good, but the beef brisket sandwich was also super good! Their homemade potato chips were so yummy that paired with the sandwiches. Prices are a bit up there, but hey, you're paying for a quality fresh ingredients gourmet sandwiches that you get to enjoy while watching a concert. I went to this restaurant in October 23 as I was in LA visiting friends. We managed to get a 4 seater table which was perfect as we had 3 adults and 2 kids so we managed to put a high chair on the end. So you order at one section which is easy to do. Then you are given a number for your food. We ordered a fried chicken sandwich, avocado toast, buttermilk pancakes and a salad. It's an average price for LA but I'm from the UK so I always grudge the price a little!! But the food was great and the food arrived within 10 minutes. Worth a try if you are in the area. It was very busy!
Food was okay, service was good and staff was very friendly. The ambiance is nice, especially in the outdoor area to people watch. Had the eggs, bacon and toast- all were fine. My friend had the blueberry pancakes Their coffee was great- I had an iced oat latte.
This charming café and deli offers a great selection of food, including plenty of vegan options. I tried the ham and cheese ficelle, which may be small but is absolutely delicious. The coffee was also excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly.

Amazing Chinese chicken salad! The desserts and deli items are fantastic as well. The coffee, cookies, pastries, and ice cream are all wonderful. There is street parking available, and the atmosphere is cozy. Food: 5/5
It was simply fantastic! The maple-glazed chicken was perfectly heated, and the green beans were delightful. Joan's on Third truly offers everything! They have espresso, ocean views, a deli, and so much more...
This place is always my top choice when I'm in LA. I always order the turkey club—it never disappoints. The pastries could be better, but the sandwich is definitely worth it!

We enjoyed lunch sitting outside, and a kind young man even added money to our parking meter for us. The chicken salad sandwich was fantastic!
Do please try their Kouign-amman pastry. You shall not be disappointed... Their original 3rd Street space still rules.
