The food is delicious, the portion sizes are okay. The fries are crispy and well seasoned. For vegetarians, the choice is more than sparse: cheese platter, salad, fries or vegetable burger that's about all! The desserts are also amazing (egg liqueur ice cream! . Quite expensive for a broom stain. The service is warm and friendly (I think it's OK to be called by you and the view, in contrast to the rest of the ambience, is just great!

On the week end you can't drive on the narrow road, but during the week it is possible. The farmer and his daughter have a small but interesting list to eat and drink. The view is spectacular. Fun outside and inside too.

Nice view on the smaller part of Lake Constance called Gnadensee. A little walk will lead you from Steckborn to this idyllic place. Locals know the place for small but good dishes. Service is family owned alike.
