Ordered a vegetable omelette. When I took my fourth bite, I got a piece of plastic in my mouth and halfway down my throat. After I coughed it back up determined it was a piece of plastic. I sent the Dish back and asked them to take it off my ticket as I’d also only take four bite. The owner said, loud enough from the kitchen for me to hear, “It’s an onion peel. Ask him if he wants something else, but he’s paying for it.” I KNOW the difference between an onion peel plastic.The food is not that good, the service is adequate and the owner is not a nice guy. Eat here at your own risk. (I did pay for the meal because I wasn’t going to let him bad mouth me.
The food is enjoyable, although the selection isn't extensive. However, it is tasty. The service is great, though a bit slow at times. The owner, Jo, is very hands-on and demonstrates excellent management. She and her waitstaff are very friendly. It's a charming little country-style diner. Just a note about the parking: the lot is on a hill and has some cracked areas.
Refused to let us order Breakfast 2 minutes after 10:30 cutoff. We are not from here and had been traveling and wanted Breakfast. Looked like a nice place to stop so we did and were even charged for 2 cups of coffee which should have been a courtesy for our time. WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THERE AGAIN AND FRIENDS AND FAMILY WILL BE TOLD.
Just a great, hometown diner where locals come in and everyone knows each other and the waitresses know their orders. Wholesome atmosphere, and good food, too.When you think of a three meat omelet, I guarantee you don't think of all you get in THIS omelet. Wow.The Wife and I will definitely keep going, and we will keep enjoying.

I went to Jo’s Diner this morning for breakfast at 10:30am. As I walked into the door, a waitress met me and said “NO…. We closing at 11:00 and aren’t taking any more orders”. That’s EXACTLY what she said. Just wow. It’s a shame, I’m a good customer and a good tipper. I do not recommend due to the hostile waitress.
This is always a fantastic spot for breakfast. Friends frequently come and go, and the staff is wonderful, even when they're extremely busy. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy your meal.
We truly enjoyed the dining experience at Joe's. The staff, atmosphere and food were great! The helpings were huge (chef salads, burgers) were delicious!
