I go to this restaurant, to which I have been loyal for a long time...many years...because I value the consistency of the high-quality food. I like the servers. I love the patio on a warm, drowsy, shady, summer evening... But I am so tired of...the obvious belief that only young women in heels can be instructive and helpful hosts and servers...that the C-cup is a reasonable basis for screening prospective staff. Please...management...play to your strengths. Emphasize the innovation in your menu ...love that seared tuna and stop the reliance on outmoded marketing advice, 2 decades stale now, at least... and highlight your wonderful staff. Get some gender balance going, some age balance...tras...
I had to catch a flight, so we showed up before the lunch crowd so as to ensure we would not be delayed. The service was so prompt that I was very early at the airport!! It was really quiet when we arrived, but got busy very quickly around just before noon. OK, as as to our arrival; we were seated immediately and asked for drink preferences very shortly after. Our server was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. He was asking about our needs, but not too much. His balance and service were right on the ball. Cannot speak for the whole staff but the person who serve us was right on the ball. I am not into profiling, but the man who served us with excellence was black and with serious...
We typically try and venture out and experience new or ethnic restaurants, but we stopped into Joeys since it was close to our hotel. We ordered the ravioli and the steak with shrimp. The steak was cooked exactly how we asked and tasted fresh. The ravioli had the perfect amount of sauce and wasn't over or undercooked. The flavors were amazing and totally exceeded our expectations for a chain restaurant. Most importantly, the food was hot.We seated ourselves in the lounge, and it took quite a bit to have a server approach us. Although it was moderately busy, we should have been approached within the first seven to ten minutes. Once we got our food (which was prompt), no one came back to check...
The restaurant serves a variety of mainly North American and fusion type dishes. It has a nice casual atmosphere and the food is quite good. I was there with two friends who are vegan, so finding something suitable to eat fat most establishments would be a bit challenging. Not so at Joeys, where staff were quite happy to help my friends create alternative menu choices from available ingredients. For myself, I was happy with my "signature chicken" dish, while my friends quite enjoyed their vegan dishes made especially for them.

Good location on the edge of Linden Woods, with a patio that has lots of sun and is tucked away from much of the traffic noise. Servers are prompt and pleasant, wine selection is good (and house wine inexpensive), but the best is the dishes...that never disappoint: burgers (served on a clamshell of head lettuce for gluten free and lighter fare); chicken sandwich to die for and a steak frites that rivals Hys.
Overall we had a great lunch Sitting on the patio with a nice summer breeze now that's the way to dine We lucked in and got a great seat out there.

I was let to JOEY Polo Park by a customer's choice I was apprehensive at first, but ended up being pleasantly surprised.
