Joey's Seafood Restaurants - Sylvan Lake

I went on an all you can eat fish Tuesday! I had the lowest priced fish and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the fish was cooked, tasted, and the portion size (I had pieces and really should've stopped at pieces). The...fish was lightly battered and extremely flavourable. Totally recommend this location in Sylvan Lake for Fish and Chips. I can only imagine how good the higher priced Haddock or Cod would've tasted (possibly seafood heaven). Service was pleasant and outstanding!! I'll definitely be coming back for more fish.

We decided to give Joeys a try after months. Our previous experience wasn't the best. On this occasion some of the staff who had left had returned and the service was much improved. The fish and chips were excellent and really fresh and hot.....If it stays like this we will be back. The tables were full, mid week on a cold Sept early evening.

This is one of our favourite restaurants when we visit sylvan. I love the fish tank in the middle of dining area. Both my wife and I like the food and service. Food is fresh, service is friendly, so we will be coming back until that changes. I do miss the urinals that were mounted too high at the old location...

I have dined at this restaurant several times after church services and have always enjoyed their excellent pollock and fries. The restaurant is very clean and bright, unlike the old, dirty Red Deer Joeys. I wish they offered the specials that Red Deer Joeys have.

The fish and chips were good. One member of our party ordered a lobster and shrimp sour dough that wasn't very good. Service was slow and a few table's orders came out before ours even though we ordered ahead of them.

We don't go here too often, but when we do it's because we are looking for good value and a quiet, cozy, family atmosphere for dinner! It's a restaurant not a pub, and that's nice sometimes!

For some reason the fish tasted too fishy'.Don't know if it was the oil or the fish.Also was quite disgusted at !! charge for an extra tiny dish of cole slaw.Don't know if we'll be back.

I brought back the all-you-can-eat fish tacos, so now this restaurant is a winner in my opinion. Can't wait to come back soon!

I really enjoyed the crab dish and the service was both entertaining and accommodating. The atmosphere was fantastic.

I love Joeys Only, foods always good!! Need to work on pick-up orders, have been wrong on several occasions
