I highly recommend John Andrews Restaurant. A few years ago, we stumbled upon it by chance and saw the chef standing in the doorway, enjoying a breathtaking view. It immediately felt like the perfect place, and he was incredibly warm and welcoming. Although the hostess said they were fully booked, the chef insisted on finding us a table nonetheless. Everything about our experience was flawless. The staff were professional, the service was top-notch, the ambiance had a charming rustic feel, and the food was outstanding. I've suggested this restaurant to friends and family, and everyone agrees—it’s truly one of the best options around!
We were enticed by the fantastic online reviews and decided to check out this restaurant. It’s located in a lovely area, surrounded by trees and flowers. For appetizers, we ordered the fried mushrooms and gnocchi, both of which we enjoyed. For my main course, I had the trout, which unfortunately was over-seasoned, too complex, and quite salty. The duck breast was decent, though. The cocktails were fine—not particularly special but satisfactory. The only downside was our server. To be clear, he wasn’t rude; he just had a laid-back demeanor that gave the impression he didn’t want to be there, which was a bit disappointing.
We went to the restaurant with a group of four, and we had a wonderful dinner. The ambiance was charming, and the food was outstanding for the price. We would definitely come back to this restaurant and strongly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Delicious food overall, with the duck and calamari being exceptional highlights! The drinks were unusual but enjoyable. The lamb was quite tasty too. All in all, a fantastic experience.

Some true masterpieces on the menu include the whole roasted garlic and the pork chop with bacon marmalade, both of which are exceptional. The homemade ice creams were also fantastic.
Not really worth the price. We had the fixed-price menu on Thursday, and it was just okay. The focaccia was too doughy — I would recommend skipping it.
