John Joe's Pizzeria And

I've always thought the garlic knots at this restaurant were a great value and absolutely delicious. While I understand that inflation has led to price increases, the taste remains fantastic. I highly recommend this place for its flavor. However, I’m giving it four stars because I've noticed that John Joe's isn't very clean. In my visits, I’ve observed that the staff often doesn’t wash their hands after handling cash, which raises concerns about hygiene and safety. Admittedly, I can't know for sure if this is a constant issue since I’m not there all the time. As a kid I lived on that block 5 up until 12 yrs old I remember me and my brother in the morning we would stop there to get a slice of pizza or a water ice before school my mom loved the garlic knots as a kid me and my brother helped out with making pizza boxes doing the trash wiping the tables down and chairs sweep moped filling the garlic cheese hot peppers containers every now and then they would teach us how to make pizza wow I can't believe this pizza shop is still out there I will and love to visit them again for pizza and to see the faces of those I haven't been here since 1994. god bless and may God be with the store and family and customers. ?

We placed our order at 11 PM and called back at 12:10 AM to check on it, and they claimed they had sent it out. I called again at 12:24 AM, and they said the order was sent to the wrong address. When I called a third time, they assured me it was on the way. However, at 1:17 AM, they were closed, and we still hadn’t received anything. It’s really disappointing! I used to order from here at least once or twice a week, but after this experience, I will never return. It was embarrassing, especially since my friends and I were celebrating and now we’re left hungry with no pizza. Such an awful experience!

Best late night pizza. coming back from concert, I made love to my GF and we got hungry. Stumbled upon John &Joes, and I ended up making love again. This time it was my tongue and the PIZZA. We had margarita , pepperoni and white slices, and it was the best Late night pizza we could've asked for. A+ all around. Réservez une table maintenant

I was working in the area and decided to get lunch. This was one of the best slices I’ve had. The slices were large and delicious. Too bad I don’t live around here because if I did this would definitely become my go to spot for pizza. Thanks for the amazing slices!

This is the best restaurant in Pelham Parkway! I've been eating here since I was 5 years old. The management feels like family and is a beloved part of the whole neighborhood. Plus, it's a huge bonus that my son has been working there for the past 5 years!
