“Great Atmosphere, Food Service.” Lovely pleasant restaurant located in the core of downtown Oakville with enough parking space across the street. Splendid nice ambiance with live music in one section which was just fantastic giving us the ability to converse (we were seated in the second section . Main Course is in the $40.00 range and they have a good selection of wine, we tried their house wine as well and it was good. The food was just fantastic, we were all impressed, loved each plate we ordered and had an unbelievable experience. The staff was just amazingly friendly and helpful. In all we loved visiting Jonathan's I am giving Jonathan s of Oakville 5 stars as there are no more to give...
We enjoyed a fabulous meal here before attending a show at the Oakville Centre. We were seated in the charming J-Bistro area which has an elegant yet laid-back vibe. I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection and my husband had the burger and frites which he proclaimed the best ever. The service was attentive but not intrusive. As we had to get to the show, we sadly had to skip dessert but we'll definitely be back soon. Highly recommended!
Best restaurant in Oakville. Quite possibly the best restaurant in oakville. With a menu to die for and some of the nicest wait staff in any restaurant why bother going anywhere else. The soufflé is spectacular. Summer is the best time for this restaurant with the open patio allowing a nice breeze but don't get me wrong there is no such thing as a bad time to visit this spectacular restaurant..
We have dined at Jonathans several times and have found both the food and service to be of the highest calibre. They offer formal dining in one of the dining rooms or a more casual experience in the J Bisrtro, at a lower price point. Definitely not inexpensive, but we found the prices to be more than justified by the quality.
