Good Italian fare, esp for a small chain. This is a small local chain restaurant in the area on 41st near the I-44 interchange. Efficient friendly service. Dane and I split the excellent Italian Wedge for $3.49 with an entree...Iceberg wedge, applewood smoked bacon, candied pecans, gorgonzola, roma tomatoes and apple slices. Served with roasted garlic ranch....really good but a bit small to split for two people. I had the Spicy Shrimp and Chicken for $12.99....Penne pasta, cayenne pepper romano cream sauce,mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes and green onions which was very good,creamy and well prepared. Not the best but not the worst.... My hubby and I love the nachos. He also likes the Fettucini Alfredo with chicken. I like the Eggplant Parmesan and the Chicken Balsamico with angel hair pasta. We also love the bread with the oil and garlic though the last couple of times we went we actually had to ask for the balsamic vinegar to put in with it. But the service is usually ok. Sometimes great and sometimes annoying. I don't care for the red sauce that they use for most of their dishes including the lasagna. But the sauce on the parmesan is different. All in all not a bad place to go. I usually enjoy it. Though it's NOT authentic by any means.
go back. I had the spicy chicken and garnel that comes with a creamy sauce, but I asked for spicy marinara instead. I thought they would blew it and bring it with the cream sauce, not. it was very good and much tender bun and garnel, sun-dried tomatoes, rooms etc. Our waitress was on the ball, not too firm and was there when we needed her. drinks were refilled pronto and all came with a beautiful big zeasar, not a creepy little thing. the brot is so-so, only a regular French baguette, but the immersing soße makes it. a beautiful atmosphere for everyone.
not pleased. we used to carinos. now the food is bland and dry and the service is in the regular terrible. do not tell the management because they could take care of less. They wanted to leave today and had to get out because they didn't want to get out in the rain. do not offer to bring it out when I command, then let it sit on the counter because they get wet. pasta was dry and tasteless.

great service and more food. the Italian nachos should die, and their red cheesecake is better than any cheesecake I've ever had. my fiancée got the calamari and it was also very good. free brot and garlic olive dip with the purchase of any entree. our waiter sam was very attentive and friendly.
absolutely wonderful! it is very hard to find a restaurant with decent gluten-free options. I am used to sites with only 2 or 3 options, but johnny had such a great choice that it was almost impossible to choose. I often come back until I had the chance to try them all!
Great. Two Words: Italian Nachos! This place is one of my favs. The very last time I went I didn't care for what I got but that's a danger when picking a new entree. The italian cream soda's are also fabulous. Get the Nachos if nothing else.
The fire sticks are the only reason why I go to Carino's. The service is usually really good, prices aren't too bad. I try to order spicy items off the menu but they're usually not spicy at all. The food is still delicious though.

I enjoyed a side salad with the lunch size serving of a Bowtie Chicken Pasta. The service was on time and of fantastic service while seating in the bar area.
Waited ten minutes at the desk while the help circled but never landed. Never heard we'll be right back. So we left.
