My family and I came to this steakhouse for a birthday celebration. Our waitress was a short, chubby, brunette woman didn 't catch her name; wish I did so I can put her name on this review. The menu had said that the prime rib was available only on specific days, we didn 't know that going in. My FIL asked the waitress that while the prime rib was only served on those days, can we make a birthday exception that night. Her response: you read that correctly. My wife and I went out for her birthday dinner. We decided to support local business and go to Johnny's. We were seated promptly and looked over the menu to order our drinks. Minutes went by so we started to select our meals so that we could order our meals when our drink order was taken. We were never acknowledged by a server. 25 minutes later we walked out still unacknowledged. The restaurant was not busy and the staff did not appear to be overworked at the time. I probably chose the wrong cut of steak. Always heard great things about Johnnys but the Johnny's Special sirloin was tough and hard to chew. All the other food was good. Potato soup and onion rings very good. Standard cut crinkle fries were good and warm bread very good. Service was excellent. The atmosphere was more of a lounge feel rather than a cozy setting. The food was great, and our waitress Sarah was fabulous. The only grip I have was that while we waited for our table, we sat at the bar. One girl with long brown hair was running around trying to get everybody drinks. The other bartender was chatting with a couple, looked right at us and looked away, and kept talking. She had dark blond hair and tattoos on both arms. Her mother was sitting right next to me, picking up food. I'm sure she heard me complaining to my husband.
