I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, jalapeños, and mushrooms after not having ordered from this place in a long time, and I may not again in the future. The pizza was decent, but I felt shortchanged on the toppings. I paid $2 for each topping, and while I got a good amount of pepperoni as usual, I was really disappointed with the jalapeños and mushrooms. I only received about 10 jalapeños and 15 slices of mushrooms, which isn’t enough to evenly distribute across the pizza. It’s frustrating to spend that much on toppings and not get value for money, especially with rising prices everywhere. Customers deserve better, and honestly, I think I deserve a $2 refund for the lack of jalapeños and...
It appears that the food quality, preparation, and portion size have declined recently. We ordered two Strombolis with different ingredients, but both were lacking in meat and vegetables and seemed undercooked. The service was acceptable, but I had to wait while two staff members stood at the end of the bar chatting and ignoring me. A simple acknowledgment, like "We’ll be right with you," would have made a big difference.
This is our favorite place for pizza. The food is good and fresh and the service is A+. I wish I knew the young man's name who waits on us. He's the only one waiting tables during the week day but he always makes you feel like you're the only customer there. He's friendly and always makes you feel welcome. Kristy served my husband and me yesterday while we were passing time before his hair appointment next door. She was wonderful and very considerate of our time constraints.
