Twenty minutes later, I received a call informing me that my burger was ready but that they wouldn't deliver it unless I paid a five-dollar fee. I agreed to pay the fee in cash, but another twenty minutes passed, and I still hadn't received the burger. When I called back, they told me they were waiting for me to make the payment with my credit card. At that point, I decided to cancel the order, telling them to keep the burger and that I would be sharing my experience online to warn others about their unprofessionalism. This situation has shown me a complete lack of respect and professionalism from the staff. I plan to reach out to the restaurant later today and tomorrow to inform the owner...
I decided to give this place a try based on a strong recommendation and ordered the Grandma Margarita pie for pick-up. I prefer a crispy, baked crust, but some pieces were a bit too crunchy for my liking, which made them hard on the teeth. The pie itself was good—I'd even go as far as to say it was delicious—but some of the edge pieces were more burnt than baked. It likely could have come out of the oven a bit sooner. Also, I noticed that the price was higher than what was listed online and in-store, so an update on the menu pricing would be a good idea. I heard they make great sandwiches too, so I’ll definitely have to check that out next time!
On the way to being lost, on the corner in the middle of a residential neighborhood, sat this tiny little, mom and pop gem. On the window it said XL pizza, pick up only at $12.95 and they had me. I love pizza and it is my most common review on another platform, so I couldn't pass up the deal, even after having eaten dinner. Just a plain pie, I always say. If an Italian place can't master the basics, I won't eat anything else there. We they did it. A good pie at a great price. Simple. It's a deli and they sell ice cream, and next time I get lost in the neighborhood, I will stop by again.
This is our go-to place when we're in a rush and need a quick bite. The pizza is good—not extraordinary, but satisfactory. Their subs are fantastic; I highly recommend the grilled chicken with fresh mozzarella on a panini, served with fries. The kids really enjoy the chicken fingers with fries. The service is excellent, and the staff is wonderful—I can't say enough good things about them. Be sure to check out their specials! Also, their ice cream is surprisingly underrated!
