John's Fish - Réservation de table

Tried for the first time and found the taste quite different, especially for an Indian palate. Initially, it was a bit bland as it lacked salt or spices. However, after adding some salt and sauce, the flavor improved significantly, and by the time I finished, I was really enjoying it! Their service is good, prices seem reasonable, and the portions are quite generous. Overall, I had a pleasant experience with the famous fish and chips.

Great takeaway that is popular with locals. It has a small amount of tables and chairs but is mainly a takeaway. The chip portions are very generous so we always share a large portion. You can get med cod chips for £10 or budget fish n chips for £6. A good variety on the menu pies, fish, sausages, chicken, spring rolls etc. I think they used to be cash only but noticed today they now take cards.

We tried this based on the good reviews and were really not impressed. The service was very good and everything was cooked to order, but the fish was swimming in old fat and the chips were greasy and soggy. Ended up throwing the meals away as they were horrible. Such a shame.

Already posted a negative review but this is disgusting . Walked past and saw a staff member no gloves picking skin off his hands over the open fryers. Iv contacted the EHO .disgusting

Really friendly staff who cooked out Cod Chips fresh. Sunny day so we sat outside. The batter was crisp, and not too thick. The fish was flaky and delicious.
