My German cousins had organised a surprise meal for our uncle’s 86th birthday. He chose this venue. As a group of 16 the first of us arrived on time at 14:00 on a Saturday 28th. The rest of the extended family trickled in till about...14:55. As people arrived in the almost private corner room (that accommodated 16) we were served glasses of still water with lemon and any drinks that were ordered. Menus were on each place setting. Waitresses were polite, attentive, friendly and efficient. We finally settled around 15:00 and menus were consulted and orders taken, including drinks. we were a party of 8 and had a wonderful dinner at joks. most of us had different steak (the ribeye steak was wonderful! we also had a vegan with us, he had beautiful pasta and salads that they made for him without seeing. or eier in it. the staff was generous though somewhat slow, but in general the service was on the positive side. for dessert we tried the famous apfelstrudel, which was quite disappointing, as it was very dry and not as delicious as we thought it was. Nevertheless, the whole impression was great, especially because the steaks were delicious. if they are in meat, they should eat here!
Visiting a friend in Ellerbek, a short bus train ride out from Hamburg, we were spoilt for choice of where to eat but decided to try this steakhouse in a quaint thatched building. The restaurant has a great décor, with fresh food on display,...and our waiter was excellent. Our steaks were very tasty and cooked to perfection, with plenty of good beer to wash them down, we would certainly be happy to come back for another meal any time.
I'm a regular visitor of this restaurant and start to find a pattern. Every now and then my lunch is rather ok than good. Dinner however has always been excellent. The steaks might even be incredible... Then cooks on the evening shifts definitely know how...to grill a steak! All side dishes have always been delicious and the portions are just right. Overall a place to recommend, especially for dinner!

Having had a great meal a couple of years ago we had to return and once again the atmosphere and food was excellent with really tender steaks cooked to perfection. However, unlike our first visit where our waiter spoke perfect English and gave us menus...in English, our waitress spoke only German (luckily we could read the menu in English on their website).
close to airport and autobahn. we enjoyed a dinner my wife, our daughter (19) and I a Wednesday evening. almost full outside this beautiful summer night. waiters were fast and we could have menu cards in German and English. we had two burgers and a grilled salmon court. medium restaurant. we will come back when we use the airport in hamburg.
Great steaks -juicy and tender. Best chips fresh and crispy. Good selection of cocktails -from 21.00 happy hour. Very reasonable prices. Good parking in front of the building. Friendly and fast service. No negatives. Definitely on our Visit Again list
Went to the restaurant based on the reviews. The place is ok. Not to good not to bad. I had a salat with beef but wasnt really impressed. Price for the quality is fair.
