The owner came over to our table and chatted with our family, which was lovely. We enjoy interacting with fellow tea enthusiasts who are passionate about sharing their tea culture. Overall, the experience was wonderful. However, I do have one complaint: the high tea only included one pot of tea per person, and this wasn't made clear to us. We’re accustomed to places that offer unlimited tea with high tea service. One of the reasons we visit tea rooms on vacation is to sample new teas, and given the extensive list at Jolie's and the price for the high tea (compared to most tea rooms I've visited), I assumed the tea would be unlimited. I made reservations for high tea for two. The service was very good, with everyone we interacted with being extremely friendly. They have a large selection of teas to choose from and each patron gets their own pot of tea. As another review mentioned, this is more of a light afternoon tea than a high tea. For two people we were served in total four macarons and five finger sandwiches. There were also two madelines and two lemon scones that are a bit rounded in shape and smaller than the average scone. Jam is provided as a condiment for the scones. If you are expecting more sandwich varieties (they have three iirc) or pastries, I would look elsewhere the focus here is more on the tea. I will r...
Heaven on Earth! After my third flight, I craved more tea! This place is gorgeous, and the staff is wonderful! Everything was absolutely perfect, and I highly recommend it to all tea lovers <3! If this tea shop were closer to my home, I'm sure I'd go broke because it's that good! However, the prices are fair for such an incredibly beautiful tea shop!
Wow-what a wonderful place! It was so new, clean, colorful and vibrant! It's definitely my happy place. It exceed my expectations. They have such an array of tea and the little sandwiches were delicious. The only thing I would change is the type macaroons we got. Everything else was fantastic. Looking forward to my next visit.
The variety of teas is astounding. You can order a cup of any tea in the shop. I had the Afternoon Tea. Three different tea sandwiches and a fantastic lemon scone. My only negative is I think an “Afternoon Tea” should come with a cup of tea. Everything was delicious and I bought more than 10 different teas to take home!
jolie tea company is a jolly place to be! so many macarons to choose from and very cute decoration inside! there is a fun writing machine to play with in the load and there is also a private tee room that they can book in advance. very happy I came over jolie tea company during my time in salem!
My husband and I stopped in because I'm a tea addict and the high tea is super precious and yummy. The tea selection is vast. Played it safe with a black tea that was lovely and would love to go back again for some other types. Super charmed by the space, too! Thanks for the great experience.
Absolutely amazing service. We came here for tea after my sister got married and they bent over backwards to make sure we had an outstanding experience. The tea was delicious as was the food. And the wedding tea and macarons were such a nice touch that was deeply appreciated.
