We ordered the both the Papa Jones Platter & Mama Jones platter to feed our grown family on our daughter's birthday in February. We ordered it again to feed the same people tonight, for Father's Day.By comparison, we appeared to be missing one of the platters tonight as the quantity of food had greatly decreased since the last time. In February, each platter came with its own packaging for take out. Tonight, there was only one packaging for the food items.I called to say we seemed to be missing one of the platters. When I said we were aware of portions and it seemed we were missing a lot of food, she said that they combined both platters. She also said that they ran out of some meats and substituted for others, which was the first time we'd been told this. We ordered 3 hours in advance, to hopefully prevent this. She said something about coming back tomorrow and they'd make it right... but I don't have 6 adults to feed tomorrow night. It isn't Fathers Day tomorrow... I feel completely cheated and they don't seem to care. They are busy, popular, and obviously feel they can pull a few shady moves and get away with it. $115 for two platters.
I have not tasted more tender pork bibs or beef brisket or pork butt since I was in Whitehorse 2 years ago. Friendly server, waited probably max 10 min for order- eat in or take out. Also serve chicken or beans. I love their store hours- 11 am til sold out. Gluten free option everything exc. tacos and burger buns. Best fries my wife has tasted in 5 yrs except a bit salty.
After waiting in line for a while we got to the server at the till...."What's your name?" Pardon me? What's your name? Why? For the Order...as she continues the conversation with the co-worker asking her about cleaning...Do you have any brisket left? No. OK Thanks then...Won't be rushing back to this place...
