This Japanese Madai looks so simple but the Madai was FRESH and the flavors exploded in my mouth and I drank all of the broth too. Everything else was superbly amazing! This is Chef Jiho Kim’s great comeback. This culinary genius revamps his menu and brings something completely different this time. He blends traditions and flavors and his genius way of using wasabi and gochujang brings me a whole understanding of flavors. The tasting menu is deservingly luxurious. One of the best meals I've had in New York in the past year. Every dish was thoughtful, beautiful and delicious. Loved the bits of NY influence fused with Chef's Korean and international flavors. Additionally, the service was warm, welcoming and on point. Add all that in with the beautiful dining space, and it makes for a unique and special experience. Can't wait to be going back!
