"Good food with a breathtaking view. The lobster rolls and the blueberries were so good. Maybe I'm funny, but I don't know what popovers are about? They were delicious, but not changed life. Your online booking system doesn't seem to work, I did our almost a month ago and then they told me they didn't have one."

Cosy, but only good food after a hike in the Jordan Pond. This place is located directly on the pond with parking space that is overcrowded. Your outdoor area with magnificent lake view has a good set for wedding ceremonies and outdoor events, while its interior has several tables with open wall and outside view. Although it was quite busy at lunchtime, we were sitting right away. The service was excellent, but the food was good. My Lobster Bisque was hardly warm and had a dazzling amount of meat. Then, although they boast about their popovers, they were just fine and at room temperature. I made it better and made it better elsewhere. NOTE/TIPS: It is the only food spot near the pond, but th...

Several visits over the last twelve years. If you have a holiday at Acadia National Park, you must be here at least once. The poppers are the reason to try this place. It's an Acadia tradition. Everything else is a solid three stars, but the popovers are the four stars. English breakfast tea and warm popover with butter and jam are such a treat after hiking around Jordan Pond. The walk is easy for a family and many people bring their little dogs with you so you know that young children are good to go the way. The grilled cheese was barely warm let alone the grilled view the picture) and the food is just okay. The place is beautiful and the staff is great and things move quickly, but you need...

A good restaurant with a terrific view. The pond is a small walk down a dirt path, and the restaurant has a direct view of the mountain side. As for the food, absolutely loved the blueberry lemonade, a perfect balance between sweet and tart. The Shepard's pie is incredible and avoids the pitfall of having to much oil. If you want a less hearty dish, the popovers beverage is a great option. Be warned: if you order jelly, a small horde of bees will quickly navigate to your table. Even so, the jelly is quite fabulous.

If you? re-exercise on bees I do not recommend sitting outside. The lobster was good (the Quinoa I got with him was a bit strong on the goat cheese? And not my joy button hit for a light fare) the drinks were great, the view excellent and the hosts very effective. It helped us show up early when the car park quickly turned into a nightmare. The top surfaces were super good, caution for the jam, as they attracted a ton of bees. Actually, we didn't eat the jam and the bees left us alone.
