We went on the vineyard experience and greatly enjoyed ourselves Adrian was an excellent host and gave a great history of the Joseph Jewel winery, Starscape/Floodgate vineyard and the history of wine making in Russian River. The wines poured were all excellent with some special pours from Adrian’s library including his first vintage (2009) from Flodgate vineyard. The lunches from Oakville Grocery were yummy. Please ignore the large corporate winery’s and support these small gems.
My friend and I visited San Diego over the weekend and stumbled upon this hidden gem. Adrian was absolutely amazing and took great care of us. Even though they were close to closing, he provided us with an exceptional wine tasting experience. It was by far one of the best I've ever had, with a fantastic selection of varietals. I can assure you that Joseph Jewel lives up to its reputation. We will definitely be back!
Very awesome experience. We reserved a picnic lunch and the tasting, information, picnic, and whole experience was top notch and five stars. April was fantastic and answered all of our questions and even though she was running the tasting room by herself, did not hurry us along. Definitely recommend this winery and their wines to everyone.

We really appreciated April’s approachable but knowledgeable presentation. She paired wines to highlight the distinctive characteristics of each and let us explore the wines before sharing further information. And she shared several great recommendations for other spots in the area. Great way to spend an afternoon!

We had a fantastic private tasting at her partner's vineyard. The wine was excellent, and our host was delightful. Our lunch was the perfect accompaniment as well. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful outdoor lunch while sampling wines and then toured bit of the vineyard. It was a terrific experience with some of our now favorite wine!
I fell in love with a pinot I tried at a tasting and joined my first weinclub. every bottle I have open impressed me. I love this one.
