we have just stopped for a wine tasting and were very satisfied with our hostess. she was very informed about the various weeping and the entire operation of the weingut. we had rejected a rehearsal of great big friggin red as we tasted it. in a restaurant in digby and found it light and not so tasteful. She was surprised when she felt she was the most daring weeping. Although we had already tasted our, she wanted us to try the big friggin red from the winery....WELL, what the restaurant served us was obviously not gbfr or if it was an old bottle, it is an excellent wine. we also liked that they also sell crates of wein (a lot easier to treat in a motorhome); and that they sell their mini ki...

My wife and I had a wonderful lunch and our waitress was delightful. That would be my review except I made the mistake of forgetting my mask when I went to the bathroom. Instead of a friendly reminder, the bartender raised his voice at me...and took an empty can of beer out of my hand telling me I had broken rules. He did not say please or thank you. He then stormed off. My wife was extremely upset, as was I. A friendly reminder would have been sufficient, I would not have minded to be asked. Given what I had just spent I was really disappointed with the treatment.

The winery itself is very pretty, nice views. The cafe is ok too, visually. The menu is, ahem, what you can expect and the wines look nicer on the vines than feel on your tastebuds. What left bad taste is the service (in particularly at...the wine tasting stand). Men and women do not get same treatment in this establishment. If you arrive unmanned you might want to reconsider. If these issues are of no concern to you, it makes for a pleasant visit in close proximity to a swimmable beach.

We were a party of 4 and visited Jost Vineyard early September 2019. It happened to be a 5 minute drive from our cottage rental on Northumberland Strait. The tour of the vineyard and winery was well worth the inexpensive cost of $5. per person....Our tour guide, Karen, was excellent! She knew her stuff and was very pleasant! The wine samples were generous. We stayed for lunch and the food service were great! Be sure to visit this winery for a great experience! Highly recommended. Réservez une table maintenant

We enjoyed a meal and a glass of wine on the patio, which was wonderful. The restaurant also gave us the chance to buy wine from their boutique. Overall, it was a lovely way to spend a few hours on our tour of the northern shore of Nova Scotia.

We dined on the terrace and received excellent service. The food was delicious and the restaurant was very pet-friendly. Inside, we enjoyed the tasting bar and the staff was very knowledgeable. We will definitely be returning!

We had an enjoyable lunch here. I had soup, our guest had a deli plate which he raved about. I cannot remember what my husband had but he liked it. The service was fine and it was a pleasant way to spend time on a...rainy day.
