We booked a table for Saturday evening at and arrived on time. After taking a few pics outside of the stunning facade we went inside and were seated at a fairly large table. The interior was just as stunning as the outside being a...traditional mountain Gasthof. The place was quite busy with a lot of families dining and had a homely feel to it which was good. The waiter greeted us and gave us menus etc but then rushed off being obviously very busy. warm welcome on the phone for the booking.Once arrived, the waitress was just friendly and remained just friendly all along our lunch.We had a pumpkinsoup, that looked delicious and was tasty and also a wildmushroom soup with soja cream, that was not disgusting but also no real taste.The plates were hot boiling but the soup itself was lukewarm.I had salmon filets in a creamy safron sauce served with spinach, with tagliatelles on the side. huge portion of salmon well cooked; nice spinach well seasonned but the sauce was thick and the tagliatelle just plain.He had a wienerschnitzel that was too thick, nothing special.To be honest, that was a disappointment after reading all the positive commen...

I was checking Tripadvisor and found this restaurant. It is located about 7km outside of Titisee in a very small village with 4-5 houses.Lucky enough we made a reservation, we saw how people got turned away if didn't have a reservation.Service was allright, not perfect but far above average. Food was absolutely delicious, congratulations to the kitchen team!Summary: if you are looking for a quite restaurant don't go there. But if you are ready to make a small compromise you will be surprised about the food!

Bern there with my family. As we arrived a bus stopped there and The people that went there were very noisy. The service was not welcoming and we didn't like the food. My wife ordered a salmon fillet and ig was horrible. We told the...waitress that we didn't like it and she charged us allthough we didn't touch it.When I asked why she told us she has nothing to do with it. Not recommended restaurant at all. Typical local cuisine well prepared. Wiener Schnitzel prepared correctly using veal, various other veal dishes, good soups and desserts. The service was very pleasant and the kitchen serves hot food all day. Scenic location includes a small Hotel. Easy and free parking.

Ate here in mid-august with my wife and two children (5 & 3). Food was good, prices were reasonable, and service was fine. Children played a bit at the small playground at the back, while i enjoyed the free wifi. I recommend.

Good food. Has English menu's. My wife had the pan seared local trout, it came whole and was delicious. Note: they don't have dark beers but the pilsners where good. Also the view out the front windows was nice while dining Réservez une table maintenant

Very nice building, splendid views over the mountains and forests. The kitchen is typically German, the dishes are made in good faith. The staff is very diligent, fast service.

great food! both in taste and quantity. very friendly atmosphere. eating is excellent and the atmosphere is personal and very friendly. I'd like to come back soon!
