After around 25 to 30 minutes without anyone checking on us, I went to the register to inquire about our food. The lady at the register informed me it would be a little while longer because they were overwhelmed. I pointed out that we had already waited for 20 minutes without any updates. She then mentioned that some customers had been waiting for their meals for over 40 minutes. I asked why no one had informed us we could be waiting that long, to which she responded that they could see we were being served by only a few staff members (which was not apparent from where I was sitting).

It's thick and fluffy and oh so delicious! Second, THE BISCUITS AND GRAVY. I would go there again and again for it. I didn't get to snag a photo before we dove in, but GOOD GRACIOUS. This restaurant has a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is absolutely delicious. I visited for breakfast around 8 am on a Saturday, and it wasn't crowded at all. I ordered French toast, turkey sausage, hashed browns, and one egg cooked over easy—everything was cooked to perfection. I did order decaf coffee, but they kept refilling my cup with regular. The prices are quite reasonable. I'm looking forward to going back!
My boyfriend and I have been coming to this restaurant for about two years now, and we absolutely love this place! The staff is so sweet, which is always a plus. It's always Packed, but we never wait long for our food or for a table. Their famous toast is a must! They also sell a whole loaf for only $6. We definitely recommend this restaurant!

The interior was well-lit and cozy, but the service was a bit slow. I was told to try the toast (who suggests trying the toast?). Oh my god, I tried the toast, and it was great! I also had the chicken-fried steak with eggs and potatoes. The food was good, especially the toast.
The food was truly terrible. It was bland and lacked any seasoning. The fried potatoes were undercooked, just placed on the griddle and flipped once before being served. Overall, it felt like a complete waste of $30!
