Ordered take out got half way home and got a call that I only had half the order so I turned back obviously. The guy was super nice in the phone and I explained that the girl at the door did not teen me there was more. He apologized but when i I arrived I explained that out was there to pick up pay off the missing order and how I was not told there was more bags and she was just smiling and said “that’s okay” at this point I became somewhat irate and said that no it’s not okay for me to have to drive 20 mins away to be called back then she couldn’t even apologize. I visited this restaurant for lunch and found the service to be incredible—fast and friendly. The decor and tables were also nice. However, the food was served cold and lacked flavor compared to other sushi places I've tried. Additionally, the prices seemed high for the quality offered. We were a bit disappointed and didn't stay for dessert. Overall, it was just okay, not great. The lunch menu had a limited selection, and the rice in the sushi felt oddly unbalanced for some reason, though it did seem fresh. It might have just been an off time of day, but that was my experience.
This restaurant offers a fantastic variety of sushi and other dishes, and the interior is very appealing. The all-you-can-eat option costs about $40 per person, not including drinks. The ordering process is done via a tablet, which adds a unique touch to the experience. It was quite busy when I visited, but I would definitely recommend it. Overall, I would rate it 7.75 out of 10, with the food quality at 4 out of 5.
Been here a few times and it was great. Last experience a few days ago was awful. The sushi was terrible. The rice was overcooked and mushy made everything taste awful. The salmon was pale and tasted like Costco salmon. Ruined my experience.Wait staff was great as usual so I tipped accordingly not their fault. Just really disappointed in the food.

I would rate this place 5 stars if the rice in the sushi had been served cold. Other than that, I highly recommend it! The food is excellent, and the customer service is outstanding. It's also a very nice and clean establishment! I've attached a picture of a sushi roll that I highly recommend if you're a fan of salmon.
Had an amazing birthday dinner tonight at Joy Sushi. Had never been before, but the food and service was amazing and we will definitely be back. I have to mention our server Cora. Always refilling our water and making sure we were happy with everything. An overall fantastic experience!Food: 5/5
This is a regular spot for our family. Awesome rice-filler ratio, sashimi is to die for consistently, skewers are ?. I could go on. The taro mousse ?. I have given this place way too much of my money this last 5 years. 4.7 stars.Food: 5/5

Overall experience deserved a 5-star. For brantford and the price point it was overall good. The service was quick and the staff were great. The food was not that bad either.Food: 4/5
