Joy Teriyaki - Réserver une table

I was really excited that this moved to University Place as I have been to the old one on 6th Ave and it was great! Unfortunately, the food was terrible. The sauce on my orange tofu was watery and like a soup in the bottom of the plate, I asked to have it remade but when it was it was the same. She admitted that they made it again using the exact same sauce. I ended up just getting a refund. My daughter had tofu yakisoba, which wasn’t stir fried, and had no flavor. The tofu was just fried in the fryer, there was no cornstarch or breading on it. I am hoping they are just having issues hiring cooks but it was very disappointing.

Unfortunately, it was terrible to eat. the sauce on my orange tofu was watery and like a suppe in the bottom of the plate I asked to have made it new, but as it was the same. she admitted that she made it again with the exact same sauce. I just got a refund. my daughter had toofu yakisoba who did not stir fried, and had no taste. the tofu was just roasted in frittier, there was no maize starch or brot on it. I hope they only have problems to stop cooking, but it was very disappointing.

The Honey Garlic Tofu was some of the best tofu we have ever tried! so yummy and full of flavor. For a Stir Veggie Chicken, we felt it was lacking veggies.. it was a lot of cabbage and a little broccoli. Everything tasted fresh though! we may try again for that tofu!

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about vegan options, food was prepared quickly and was very good. Portion size was generous. You can't go wrong with deep fried tofu covered in teriyaki sauce!
