Originally had high hopes for this spot, but that dwindled quickly after reading some reviews. Nonetheless, still wanted to give it a try since it's in the neighborhood. Went on a pretty dead Wednesday night, so service was just as expected in a slow bar. The ambiance is a bit odd. It's super long and narrow and right when you walk in you are struck by the smell of the vats, but you kind of get used to it after awhile. Tried the Kolsch since it seemed like a fan fav. It was super light, nothing too impressive. Staff are unwelcoming and unfriendly, Stood at the bar and was ignored, then made to feel like I was inconveniencing them because they had to serve me. Meanwhile, the staff are drinking behind the bar completely oblivious that they had a customer waiting. We decided not to give them our business because they were so rude and made us feel uncomfortable. And particularly as a Black woman, it was made very clear to me that not everyone is welcome there. Will not be returning.

Walked over to Joyride after having dinner at US Thai Cafe with a date and had a lovely time. Well, we were buying time, so only I had a beer. So many breweries in Denver, so little time. Vibes are chill. Decent selection of beers. Friendly bartenders. Lots of seating. Pretty standard for a brewery. Love this neighborhood in general, so I'll probably be back while on a walk around Sloan Lake.

Came here to watch the Chiefs game. Plenty of TVs to cover all the NFL games. They were even playing World Cup matches. The beer was also really good. The Colorado Pilsner and the Kolsch were my favorites. The Kolsch is award winning for a reason; so if you're undecided, give it a try. Really good neighborhood brewery. I had my first experience at Joyride, and I immediately felt it would become a favorite. The outdoor patio is fantastic, with options on both the ground floor and the rooftop. The rooftop offers a stunning view of Sloan Lake and the downtown skyline. I sampled their hazy IPA, and it was excellent!

Some of these reviews are wack. I love this place! Friendly bartenders, good beer selection, and right across the street from sloans. They don't serve food but there's a food truck out front and they allow you to bring food inside (pretty sure? They have cute shirts too.

The beer is quite good, and the rooftop area is fantastic, but the service leaves much to be desired. Having worked in restaurants myself, I consider myself an easygoing customer, but I was taken aback by the unfriendly and impatient attitude of the bartenders.
