J's Fish and Chips

The best fish and chips in Newmarket. A huge halibut filet with just the right amount of batter, fried to crispy perfection. This is not a fancy restaurant, but it has fantastic food. I have tried all of the other fish and chips places in Newmarket, and this one is hands down the best.Parking: Parking just outside the door

This place is just amazing! The owner was really kind and struck up a conversation with us. All the tables were clean and it wasn’t very busy. It’s great quality fish and there amazing portions.Kid-friendliness: He was very kind to my child

No wonder there were so many good comments about this restaurant. Their halibut was awesome! The batter was thin and crispy. We will certainly visit again!Update:We've visited the restaurant several times and recommended it to friends.

Great fish chip! We split the special which was quickly delivered to our able complete with water (with lemon slices). A second plate was on the tray plus two sets of cutlery.Super value!We will go back! Réservez une table maintenant

We go to j for the best fish chips in town. Old school food and excellent staff. I give them 5 our of 5.I always ask for discounts and don't get any. That's my personal joke with j.
