In the process, she didn’t notice that my daughter had stood up and moved behind the waitstaff cleaning area. The hostess then proceeded to complain to another waiter in a mocking tone about how "hot" we were. After we were finally seated at our new table, we sat there for about ten minutes while two waitstaff members continued to talk and glance at us. Frustrated, we decided to leave. It felt like they were punishing us by making us wait for even a glass of water, which is not how a dining experience should be. I’ve been going to Judie’s since I was a student at UMASS back in the 80’s. Now my past college roommate and I make a pilgrimage back to have the amazing food (including delectable popovers) and **** Mary’s at least once a year. The food and ambiance has remained stellar over all these years. Rare to find that! I can’t recommend Judie’s enough! Favorites are the seafood bisque and salad with poppy dressing, but EVERYTHING on the extensive menu is delicious!

Absolutely fantastic! I hadn't visited Judie's in years, but we went tonight and were truly impressed! The quality of the food was exceptional, and the flavors were delightful. There was a remarkable depth of flavor that made for a wonderful tasting experience. The bartenders were also extremely friendly. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I can't wait to return!

They are permanently closed. New place coming Amherst Oyster Bar It wasn't good at all when it was open.
