Located in a less than picturesque area of Glen Burnie, surrounded by used car lots and transmission repair shops, this restaurant may not seem like much from the outside. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing food and great service. I ordered a simple jerk chicken sandwich with fries, and was blown away by the tender, juicy, and spicy chicken nestled between slices of sweet coco bread. The homemade pineapple ginger juice was also a highlight of the meal. The staff, particularly Marlon, was incredibly friendly and helpful, suggesting I try their whole snapper on my next visit. Overall, despite its less than ideal location, I will definitely be returning to this restaurant soon....
This Jamaican restaurant in Glen Burnie, Maryland is truly amazing. Located amidst automotive repair shops and car dealerships, it offers an authentic taste of the island. We enjoyed a delicious meal of spicy jerk chicken, rice and peas, green beans, macaroni cheese, and Bob Marley wings. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful and mouth-watering dishes, especially the jerk chicken. New Review: I had to update this review because I have now had 3 consecutive, less than favorable experiences here. On all 3 occasions, the wait time was unacceptable (they ignore the vegetarian orders and seem to only fill omnivorous ones). The final straw was finding two pieces of beef (yes, actual animal flesh) in with the soy chicken. I think this place has gotten too popular in the local area and that has caused them to become careless. I will not return here. If you decide to give it a try, just be forewarned.
I ordered the Jerk Dark Meat and Curry Shrimp Combo with Jasmine Rice and Cabbage Medley at Chicken Shrimp. It was delicious and just the right amount of spice. The only thing I would have liked is a thicker curry sauce. The Coco Bread and Peach Cobbler Pound Cake by Devon were also really good, just like all his other pound cakes.

My first visit to this restaurant was disappointing. It took over 30 minutes for my takeout order to be ready, and the faux meat dish was chewy. The plantains had an unusual garlicky flavor, leading me to suspect cross-contamination. I do not plan on returning unless they have more menu options or make improvements.
The Lump Jerk Crab Cake Sandwich was as good as always. The Brown Stew Chicken with bones in was delicious, as was the Jerk Pork Side. Unfortunately, they forgot to include my Dark Meat side. The Raspberry Lemon Pound Cake made by Devon was also delicious.
We had a pleasant suprise! Our waitress's yantique was incredible!! She made sure everything about our dinner was first class.by the time we left,we felt like we had made a new friend! Food authentic and Judy was warm and caring!
This entire meal was terrible. The sauce was overly sweet, and the fish was not grilled properly. The presentation was also lacking, as the fish was broken up. I wish I could show the picture I took of it.

The live music was excellent. The staff was very friendly. The cocktail tasted more like juice and wasn't worth the price. The food was decent.
As someone of Caribbean descent, this restaurant is one of the rare places where you can find authentic homemade Caribbean cuisine.
