Read about this event on the Internet so we caught the bus from C’an Pastilla to Santa Margalida. Held the first weekend in September and was a marvellous sight with literally thousands of local people cramming into the small streets and square to watch this fabulous event. Traditional costumes, angels and demons, brass bands, bagpipes, floats, carriages, etc was a spectacle to behold. Waiters and cafe staff were often overwhelmed but although we were one of only a few tourists we were always given good service and attention. Only 5 miles inland would recommend this bar/cafe especially during this festival weekend.
Espectacular sitio, que buen trato y agradable. Hemos estado allí hoy, e incluso si había 30 minutos para cerrar la cocina, hemos sido tratados sin ningún problema, y miramos que éramos un grupo de 15 personas. Qué descubrimiento, una pena que hemos venido de Sevilla y nos vamos pronto.
