Just Jacks - Réserver une table

We went there for dinner tonight and ordered the salt and pepper wings and a bowl of clam chowder which was good. I ordered the steak sandwich and my husband ordered the beef dip(I think they fought with the bread before they brought it out because it wasn't in one piece). The beef dip was good...the steak however totally different story!! The fat cap was still on the steak and it was not a good piece of steak..it kinda looked like a scrap of steak. Totally not what I expected for a 6oz Alberta steak as it states on the menu. If you were to remove the fat cap, gristle and fat you have a maximum of a 3(if that)oz steak. In my opinion if that is what your serving for 6oz steak stop embarrassin...

Went for a family dinner and highly recommend the nachos. They're the best I've ever had in a restaurant. Mmm! They use fresh jalapeños which is a must in my books and they're piled high, and that alone, was enough to go back a second time. If you go for anything, go for their nachos! Delish!Kids had fish and chips and grilled cheese and fries, Dad had steak bites and salad and Grandma had steak dinner and potato, as did i. Only reason I didn't give it 5/5 was the microwave baked potato that was still hard, which they promptly re-nuked for us and they only gave us butter for the potato. We checked into the hotel and decided to go for a light supper. Tried the Potato Chip Nachos, Salt and Pepper Wings and Chicken Quesadilla. Potato Chip Nachos - a different slant on the dish but good for a change. The Chicken Quesadilla came stuffed with roasted onions along with the chicken. Not my preference but nothing wrong with it. The portions are generous. The server was good friendly and efficient.

Wide variety of tasty items on the menu. The food was served up quickly and hot to arrive. Was there with a large group and they handled it well, other than the point of sale system acting up. We had to leave our bills and return at a later time to pay up. Course ordered another round of food and drinks. Waitresses were friendly and well versed on how to look after a person.

Although they've changed from a Tony Roma's to just Jacks, the food is just ok but the service never seems to be great. I mean the servers try but it seems very slow out of the kitchen. If you're going for a one hour lunch, plan it to go as likely it won't be served and eaten within the hour unless you eat fast.

Most of their main courses are good (burgers, fries, steak sandwiches, etc) are good. They have changed their dessert menu and are way over priced and smaller than most coins. Even a few of their specialty drinks are smaller than most shot glasses. I used to enjoy going there. I doubt I will be back.

Staff is overly friendly. Go out of their way to ask about your stay, and your day! Was there for half hour and had great conversations with at least three staff. ( I was dining alone). Great place to eat and just have a cocktail and relax.

After a long day of traveling this place was a great sight. Friendly waitress and quiet weekday evening. I enjoyed the fish and chips even though this is a long way from the ocean.

The food was great, service was exceptional; overall it was a great dining experience. Our server shared in our humor and made us more comfortable by doing so.

Had a great Jack's burger and partner had chicken with brie and fantastic salad. Server was excellent as were all the friendly staff passing by.
