Whenever my family visit us in the UK, they live in Atlanta, USA and Singapore and always look forward to a good pasty. I visited Just Like Mumma 's in Oreston to buy their superb home made pasties. On visiting their shop today I found that they 've recently relocated to Faraday Mill Business Park. I phoned them to see where they were in the Business Park and asked about their pasties. I found out that although they still offer a very wide range of home cooked food, unfortunately they no longer make those delicious pasties. 5 star business, from the beautifully designed website, the perfectly selected packaging and obviously the delicious content inside the box! I ordered the gluten free Cake-away box and received 6 of the tastiest cakes I've had in a long time, its clear to see why they've won so many awards! In the box I got carrot cake, millionaire flapjack, chocolate brownie, bakewell tart, coffee cake and oaties. I have to say it's a tough decision between the Bakewell tart or brownie for the best but I think the Bakewell tart just steals it for best flavour! Finally I would like to praise the recipe card, when so many people have food allergies or dietary requirements this is perfectly presented and clear...
I was looking for a cake for my parents' Golden Wedding Anniversary and came across Just Like Mummas on Instagram. I had great communication with Molly and based on her recommendation, I decided to go with the award-winning Lemon, Blueberry, and Elderflower cake. The cake was a delightful surprise and my parents were absolutely delighted. The cake not only looked amazing but also tasted incredible, making it the perfect choice for the special occasion. I highly recommend Just Like Mummas, and want to give a big thank you to Molly and the team.
I visited Just Like Mumma’s stall at the Saltram House Christmas Festival. I opted for the pear and ginger sponge which was honestly the best cake I have had in a very long time and I would recommend anyone to have a slice! The ladies were so kind and have obviously worked very hard on providing fantastic quality cakes and other treats. We actually ended going back to the stall three times! I visited this wonderful restaurant based on a friend's recommendation and it did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the selection of cakes and pastries was top-notch. I highly recommend trying the sausage rolls and bakewell tart - they were delicious. The coffee was also fantastic. I will definitely be returning soon.
Just love coming to the quaintest little place in Plymouth. The award winning team of mum and daughter truly deserve their many accolades. Always made to feel so welcome and special. Simply the best scones, cake and coffee around. Thank you so much for accommodating us today Molly.
