Kabuki Japanese Pasadena

I haven't dined at Kabuki's in years, but I was pleased to find that it remains as wonderful as ever. The menu offers a wide selection of Japanese dishes that are prepared fresh and offer great value. The service was quick and attentive, and the food was delicious. Despite the rainy weather, the restaurant still managed to attract many customers, thanks to its location in a bustling area with many dining options. I will definitely be returning to Kabuki's for another meal soon!

it has been for several years since I had eaten at kabuki and fortunately it has not changed. menu offers a large selection of Japanese food with good value and fresh preparation. service was fast and attentive and eating was good. this restaurant is located in the opposite, where there are many restaurants and despite the rain a good number of customers attracted. I'll eat here in a definitive way!

The waitstaff was very attentive and cooperative with my severe and numerous allergies. (Not many options for one who is allergic to ALL fish and shellfish. We had a reservation for 5 and they gave us a tatami room and didn't bat an eye when we ended up with 6 and a baby. It was a delightful room for us to talk and celebrate a birthday.

Quality of food was good, as it must be in a sushi restaurant, but all of the non-sushi dishes were way too salty. Salad, brussels sprouts, soup, were all loaded with sodium. Enough salt to give us headaches. Not recommended for people with high blood pressure or otherwise adverse to high sodium.

The food was delicious, however, the service was extremely poor. I'm not sure what went wrong, but they couldn't seem to get anything right. I typically wouldn't leave a negative review, but this restaurant appeared indifferent to their mistakes. There were too many errors for me to detail.

The food was excellent, although the service was a bit slow. Our server was very friendly, so it may have been due to being short-staffed. Overall, it's a good spot for lunch.
