My family, consisting of two adults and one teenage child, chose to dine in, while most other diners ordered chicken. We opted for steak, lobster, and scallops but didn't receive all of our dishes because the table cook distributed them to other tables. Save yourself the hassle and just order chicken like everyone else; otherwise, you might end up spending nearly $50, only to ensure that others at the table get the higher-priced items along with you. Kabuki needs to improve!
Love the food. Hibachi chef was boring. Threw a pc of broccoli into 2 young boys mouths but that was it. No egg in the hat, no squeaking, rubber chicken. Got the check and noticed, as never had before, a 'Service Fee ' of $18. It was me, my nephew, and a friend. Watch your check. I would 've tipped $25 but the principal of the matter has turned me off. They depend on customers being inattentive and tipping more. I may return but they 'll never get an addtl tip from me other than, 'carry an umbrella in case it rains. '
I had a fantastic takeout experience while traveling back from Busch Gardens. We ordered the Cowboy special sushi roll and a salmon with cream cheese roll, both of which were fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the sushi chef was polite and crafted an excellent dish. The interior is beautiful, featuring Kabuki art and hibachi tables. I highly recommend giving them a try!
Ladies' luncheon. Easy to reserve online. Typical teppanyaki restaurant. I noticed the cook at another table did something I considered vulgar, but ours did not. (He had a little statue of a boy peeing and squeezed it to put something liquid on the food. Some people thought it was hilarious; I know I am a bit of a prude, but yuck.

I was told about this place by a co-worker but we ware not impressed by the food or the ambiance. When I go to a Japanese restaurant, I expect it to have oriental feel. It felt like a cafeteria. Also my likes mushrooms in her food, which they didn't have.
Monday night so it was quiet. Staff was extremely informative and helpful to me navigating the menu. I will always stop here when in Chester VA for business! Dietary restrictions: Gluten and dairy free options!
A typical Japanese restaurant where they cook in front of you. The service was excellent. The food was really good. Had a different taste than others I been to, sort of a sweet taste.
