I live in Chicago not too far from this joint wife and I went to have dinner Friday night first time there. Literally opening the door and the greetings from the owner immediately. It’s family ran so you can just feel the love in the atmosphere. Didn’t know what to order they were kind enough to suggest few things. Food literally came out within minutes after ordering very hot, amazing food with amazing people there. We’re definitely gonna be coming back and suggest this spot. Not a bad thing to say mashallah amazing experience . Thank you the 3 lovely ladies that were working there (sisters) and to the gentleman (probably the dad)! 5 stars
We had two orders, first, the lamb ribs were burned because they were cooked again and it was left over from a day before and the green sauce on it to change the color and the taste so you can’t tel it was old but I am a meat eater and I can’t tel from the color, smell, texture and the look. Second, the Kabob, salad, and hummus was much better order than the ribs. Spending around $70.00 dollars wasn’t worth it.
I'm practically salivating as I write this review. The food is absolutely delicious! The family platter was massive, and every dish was spot on. The service was exceptional—fast and efficient, with no waiting time whatsoever. The prices are incredibly reasonable too. Great food, affordable prices, and quick service make for a fantastic dining experience!
I absolutely LOVE coming here for authentic Afghan food! Whenever there’s an opportunity for me to suggest this restaurant for a family meal I go for it! We got the family platter with extra naan, lamb chops, 3 extra lamb skewers, they let me bring in a hot thermos to bring some of their delicious tea home as well!!! Amazingly delicious EVERY TIME!!! So much flavor! The dishes are fresh and generously seasoned. The tea is robust and satisfying. You absolutely must try the hot sauce; the flavor is unexpectedly delightful! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. The decor is lovely, and everything is simply delicious. Food: 5/5.
I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The service was top-notch, the food was both healthy and delicious, and the atmosphere was quite pleasant. I highly recommend a visit. Plus, the prices are reasonable for the quality. For lunch, expect to spend around $100 or more per person.
