Kafibohne Stans

Seems like a very hip café at first. It's a bit too much kitsch for my taste though. Also the coffee was not very good (from a standard coffee machine . We also had a millefeuille/crèmeschnitte which was good though. The staff take a while to notice you. What's very cool though is that they don't use paper towels in the bath but real towels :

Very cozy environment. Uniquely decorated, most items in the restaurant are actually for sale. Recommended for a relaxing cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate and homemade cakes. Exceptional friendly staff, which can also speak German. Not for business on Monday and Tuesday.

If only the second one mentions the cozy feeling in other reviews, definitely has a very local mood on it. One thing to note is that they only serve cow's milk. In other words, no soy milk for all Starbucks fan girls and boys:

The best apple cake I've been in Switzerland and have lived here for 8 years!

Nothing too exciting but it has friendly staff and a nice outdoors area
