Extremely subpar but they tried to make it right. Initial feel of the place is different than what we're used to coming from NYC, it definitely has its own country charm. You can tell it's been around a long time in both good and not so good ways. I'm sure they have their large share of loyal customers. Stood around for about 8 minutes up front with only 2 small parties seated in the whole place. At least the barback nodded after he dried his 7th glass. We're not wary of people during Covid but we did notice this was the only place we've been to since we've moved down where no one wore gloves or masks. Eh whatevs. What did take stars off was mainly the food. Our appetizer was calamari decent...
I’m puzzled as to why this restaurant allowed Tesla to install a supercharger. It seems they are more focused on the extra rent than actually providing a good experience. When the restaurant is closed, they block the entrance with cars and cones, which is incredibly frustrating. If I hadn’t had enough charge to make it an extra 40 miles down the road, I would have been stranded here. There are no bathroom facilities for people using the chargers, and they claim the rent from the superchargers doesn't cover bathroom access. Congratulations on saving 25 cents per person not using the restroom, I guess? I frequently drive this route and was initially eager to stop here for a meal while charging...
They opted to partner with Tesla for the charger, but if they aren’t going to be accommodating to customers, they can’t expect to earn respect in return. Being stuck outside for half an hour isn’t pleasant at all. This decision could have been reconsidered before accepting the charger installation offer.
Every time I charge my car, I typically buy something—be it drinks or food—at the location. I did try a meal at this restaurant once, but I won’t be returning unless absolutely necessary. Respect should start at the top, with the business owner. Ratings: Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1.
Wow, had to make a stop after renting a Tesla and needing a super charger and decided to eat here.... would go out of my way, super charger or not to eat here. We were in town for the Rock Festival and stopped in on a Wednesday night for dinner. We were greeted warmly and led to a table where we watched live music, had an amazing ribeye steak dinner and overall a great experience. Hoping to stop in again before we leave as it was that good.. Great spot for dinner. Cheyenne was my server and was so sweet and friendly. I ordered a burger and their housemade chips. The burger was good and the chips were fantastic. I would order them by the basket if I could! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
