I eat ramen a LOT. I always compare it to my time as a youth in Japan when I traveled frequently with my father. Ramen was a staple for us, standing at the counters in little shacks throughout Tokyo, enjoying the quick and easy meals. Times havechanged though. Everything seems to be gourmet now. Shared parking lot in a plaza, I can see this place getting packed but I came around 1:30pm on a Sunday and it was pretty open.There was only one other couple dining in and two other parties joined us after. Not a bad place to grab Ramen with average Tsukemen. Parking is fine, the plaza is pretty big with a Supermarket. I was able to park near the restaurant without too much trouble. Went on a Wednesday afternoon for a quick lunch. Place was pretty empty, with only one person serving. Ordered the Tsukemen and the portion felt well sized. Presentation was solid. Came with eggs and two thick pieces of pork. Both were super enjoyable. The broth was not bad either, with some bits of pork in it. I'd prefer the broth to be a bit thicker. We felt the portion sizes were just right—satisfying without being overwhelming. After finishing our meals, we felt pleasantly full, not stuffed or uncomfortable. The broth was rich and delicious; I personally preferred the white broth due to its buttery flavor, so I would definitely order it again. The star of the meal was probably the pork, which was incredibly tender and flavorful.
However, I wouldn't give it a full five stars because the service was a bit slow, and I thought the toppings were somewhat overpriced—$2 for a small side of corn seemed excessive. Despite that, we would definitely come back!

Kai Ramen (Alhambra, CA)Items:1. Kai White $15 4/5 Review: They offer free thai tea if you check in! The tea was very strong, and it was a bit sweet, but it's free! The Kai White ramen is pretty much your standard tonkotsu ramen. The best part was probably their super soft meat. There was only 2 pieces, but the pork melted in my mouth We went on a Wednesday night and there were not that many people. I think the meal for its price is very worth. You can get a solid bowl of ramen plus a free drink of thai tea for $15. ParkingFree. There is a parking lot in front of the store.
Walked in today, so perfect for a rainy day!! It was around 3pm and there were 2 other tables besides me. Tsukemen (dipping ramen) green tea was so tasty... especially the pork! Literally soo tender, I loved it. They're currently short-staffed, but Wendy (the only server there today) was great! Very sweet efficient. FYI, if you check in on yelp, there's a free thai tea.
I ordered the fried chicken ramen (volcano) and it was fantastic! The spicy broth had a wonderful kick to it. While the fried chicken did become a bit soggy in the broth, I didn't mind it at all. The only downside was the service; it took 30 to 40 minutes, even though there was only one other table occupied in the restaurant.
This is my absolute favorite place for Ramen! I always order the spicy chicken Ramen, with extra noodles.. you will not be disappointed! Service is always great- pick up and delivery. Not the greatest photo I uploaded ???? 10x better in person.

Great ramen I ever have. The service is fast and the parking is always available. They use the special thin ramen that can make my red Kai to be very special. I'll be back the next time.
The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. We didn't have to wait at all on a Sunday evening. The Kai's white was enjoyable, and the takoyaki was also delicious.
