Easily the best sushi restaurant in Geneva. Not the best Japanese but the consistency is unbelievable and Mr. Mrs. Kakinuma should be absolutely proud. The reason for the missing star is just because of the price. It is exorbitant, not their fault, Geneva is...expensive but it is a factor on the experience, while the best sushi in town, is hampered by the bill.
Kakinuma has been our tried and trusted Japanese restaurant in Geneva for over 9 years. We go about 10 15 times per year and have never been disappointed. Fish is ultra fresh, cooked dishes are to die for, and service is friendly and professional....What more could one ask for?
Im Februar 2019 zum Mittagessen besucht. Angenehme Umgebung und das Essen war in Ordnung. Hatte Sushi, Miso etc. Service etwas verwirrt und der Geräuschpegel ist wirklich nicht akzeptabel. Besseres Sushi-Restaurant in der Rue de Zurich in Genf CP CP-Familie
We took literally everything except for the tempura and everything was really good. Rice was light and non invasive at all vs the fish that was the king. Fast service also on a busy lunch. Well done! Réservez une table maintenant
18 years old. I have had the pleasure of coming regularly to Kakinuma for 18 years. If I had to keep ONE restaurant in Geneva, it would be this one. It's simply exceptional. BRAVO and THANK YOU.
