We live nearby and were there for dinner a few times. We have always thought that the food is good and the price is fair. The service is something else. In our 2 previous visits we were always served by a woman who is nice and friendly and who seems to understand what customer service means. This summer we tried to eat twice and the waiter (can be the owner... the old man with white hair and glasses and very bad manners is an absolute piece of work. Last Sunday we saw a free table and out of courtesy we asked if we were sitting and having something to eat. Not only did he worry when there was a free table (even if there was one and there was 3.45, and they served food until 8:00, but he said...

Prices are fair for the quantity and quality of the food you receive. The schnitzel with mushrooms was tasty, but the sour roast was not so well prepared. The drinks are generous and offer a nice selection. The young woman who works as a server is fantastic. The older “gentleman” is only briefly rude and generally unfriendly and could not wear his mask to cover his nose. The setup appeared very lax with COVID protocols, so that large parties with children sit in relatively confined spaces. Not big to make sure customers register in LUCA.

Stop here because the outside tables were in the shadow. Had some beers and after looking at the menu we decided to book a table for the evening. Just to say that the restaurant is closed for the day at 3:00. Since this was our last day in Miltenberg, I was disappointed not to get my gentlemen. The beer was very good and the interior of the restaurant was interesting with beautiful glass

Found the place here on TripAdviser with good recommendations. We wanted to try other beers than Faust. Schlappe Seppel, this bar used to be the brewpub with this beer from 1500-something. Good beers and ok food.

We were pretty early for dinner, but welcome. Food was a lot and there are some good choices on the menu. Wild Boar Burger, come on!
